When I had a new deck built at the front of my house, I needed to replace a window with a sliding door.  After a number of outlandish quotes from tradesmen who gave me contradictory advice I was lucky enough to find James from Oakwood Renovations.  James arrived on time and inspired confidence with his obvious intelligence, depth of building experience and his direct and honest approach. His quote was also very reasonable. When he actually installed the door he again arrived on time, did a superb job and cleaned up afterwards.  A couple of years later when I needed to replace another window and door, I once again called James, and I was just as impressed the second time around.  I can honestly recommend James as a first‐class tradesman and a person of integrity.

My partner and I have been renovating our home over the past 6 months.  During this time we have been disappointed countless times by the complacency of many companies or tradesmen that we have dealt with. The disappointments consisted of not turning up for quotes on time or indeed at all, never hearing from them again, shoddy workmanship, unmet time frames, generally unpleasant etc. etc. I could go on.  It is a pleasure to report that our faith has been restored by the professional, friendly and “can do” attitude of the team from Oakwood Renovations who replaced all of the windows in our home which included floor length double windows on the second floor and the remodeling of the Sun Room to include large sliding glass doors that open onto the decking area.  A quote was completed and received within a day of phone contact being made.  The quote was considerably less than other companies’ quotes we obtained beforehand.  Work was started the date it was supposed to and was managed in such a way as to keep disruption to the household at a minimum.  The workmanship has been exemplary.  I have no hesitation in recommending Oakwood Renovations P/L.
